Guest guest
Hi Bonnie, I know you must be so disappointed . I'm so sorry. Not knowing what is going on with the timeline and what is supposed to really happen next must be so totally frustrating!! Do you think talking to a different lawyer at this point would be helpful? Did you send them an update with more information and records to go thru til they drown!? I'm sure you have done all that. I wonder if some states are easier to get it oked through then others. I mean I know it is a federal thing but each state has their own offices. People's experiences are just all so different. What happens at this point, Bonnie? Guest guest
Bonny, What variant do you have? And How does it effect you? Robin Bonnie Heintskill wrote: I am really really bummed right now. I just got a denial letter from SSD. Again. This is my 2nd denial. I was told by the case manager that this would be before an administrative law judge, but it was NOT!!! It was a decision written by a regional commissioner. I immediately called the local SSD office and they said it could take anywhere from 6 months to a year to get before an ALJ. What has been other's experience with this? It's already been a year and a half since I quite working and I applied a year ago in January for SSD. The letter states that my condition is not severe enough to keep me from working. I have a variant of EDS.... arrgghh!!! Bonnie
