Guest guest
>>Except starving is the only way for me to lose weight. 1200 calories while doing cardio and weights doesn't work. Neither did 1500 calories or 1800 calories, assuming that 1200 was not enough calories.<< Don;t feel bad. I have heard you must eat enough to lose weight also. On 1200 a day I gain like crazy! It took a 600 calorie diet for me to lose weight the last serious diet I went on... oh I guess 24 years or so ago, but I did lose it took me a year but I lost 120 pounds. Now that diet doesn;t even work for me. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
>>What could be causing this? Thyroid surrounding resistance like my holistic doc says? Adrenal issues? Insulin resistance?<< I think insulin resistance has alot to do with it. My doctors all through the years have religiously tested me for Diabetes, but I am not Diabetic, I simply do not burn calories normally. Maybe if I was younger and more worried about my weight I could do the serious diet thing again, but right now it is simply enough not to gain. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
I am the same way. Insulin resistant but wil also fall down into hypoglycemia. When I eat low carb, my blood sugar never gets above 100 and I don't feel good. When I eat carbs, I want more and more and more. I was reading last night that in adrenal exhasustion, the body is not able to convert protein into sugar anymore. I wonder if in this case, taking cortisol could actually make weight loss easier. ~Inga >>> What could be causing this? Thyroid surrounding > resistance like my holistic doc says?
