Hi ,

The external fixator would be temporary for about 8 weeks, but I

think it would be very hard on Collin emotionally because of his age

and not being able to understand why we are hurting him. I went to

yahoo and hit the photos tab and typed the words external fixator

and their were photos, I just don't know how my baby would handle

it. I know I can probably work from home, etc. and spend the 30

minutes a day cleaning it, but I'm just leary about the whole

procedure. It has given us a lot to think about.

Michele,

I would feel the same as you. Have you exhausted all other avenues? I

can't imagine having to do that to a baby. How does the doctor say you

would keep him from touching it and pulling on it? You guys do have a lot

to think about.
