Getting over Blisters!

Hi Everyone,

Sandy and Lola here. Lola is having a really tough time getting back

use to her Bar and Shoes... She had a really badly infected blister

which she had to go on antibiotics for - anyway - we got over that

phase - I have started to reintroduce the boots - her scab had fallen

off her blister - but there was still a tiny little one - but I went

in to see my Orthodist - Dr Patel - and he said they looked fine and

I should continue on with putting the shoes on. Anyway - I have been

trying to put them on for a few more hours each day - however today -

she has just screamed and screamed all day - which is so unlike her -

so I had another look at her feet and the sore foot is a bit red but

there now seems to be a lump there? Almost like a bone or a callus?

Has anybody else had this happen to them? I am at my wits end as I

just want to get them back on and happening - Dr Patel has assured me

that her feet are very well corrected and not to be too concerned

about them relapsing - but it does concern me as she has not had them

on full time now for 3 weeks!

We are having a long weekend this weekend in Australia - so I will

have to wait until Tuesday to call Dr Patel and try to get in to see

him... if anybody else out there has gone through this would greatly

appreciate any suggestions on how you got over it? Maybe I put the

shoes back on too early?

Looking forward to hearing back from anyone!

Thanks

Sandy and Lola
