Guest guest
I have been meaning to ask this for a while LOL This was Dr Ponseti's response to my most recent set of pics: " The photos show Kai's right foot is well corrected except the toes tend to deviate medially when he stands. There is apparently at least 1/2 inch of shortening in the right foot compared to the left. Dr. Mosca sent me an e-mail report on Kai's April 7 visit. He thinks the foot is well corrected. I would expect the discrepancy in the length of the feet to improve somewhat with time. " We already know that the length discrepancy is just the nature of the beast in Kai's feet, so that is not a concern for me. What I am a bit concerned about is the " medial deviation " of the toes. I know this refers basically to metatarsal adduction. What I would like to know is what you all think of this? Anyone else's experiences with this? I will send a pic to the CFPics list, for those interested. As Dr Ponseti noted, it only happens when he stands Angel
