Guest guest
> I think I may have missed welcoming some newbies to the group lately, and if so then WELCOME to you! You've found a wonderful support group! Thank you for the welcome. This group has really been helping me. I find that going a whole week between meetings can be a long time in terms of feeling like I'm part of " something bigger then myself " which is what helps me continue to want to change. Left to my own devices, I can so easily slip back into my old habits of eating poorly, and being able to go online and find other people making positive changes is so supportive. Anyway, I've been trying to get back into healthy cooking again, and I dug up my old copy of the " Moosewood Cookbook " and found that almost all of the recipes are core-friendly. The author has a web site, http://www.molliekatzen.com which has tons of recipes if anyone is interested. Everything I've tried from her books has been really good, and I can sure use help in figuring out how to use bulgher an other whole grains. Guest guest
Thank you everyone for the very nice welcome. :-) I love that there are folks here participating in the President's Challenge too. I know that it will take me some time to work up to the next levels, but I'm up for the challenge. I used to be one of those follks who HATED exercising... now I'm almost addicted to it. *LOL* Mind you, I work out anywhere from 30 minutes to 60 minutes at least 5 days a week, and that is working for me right now. I have been working up to the WATP 3 and 4 mile tapes... some days are better than others. *L* I think that's all for now, I'd like to catch up on the daily posts. Cheers!
