at 6 mo my daughter's growth concerned the ped since it can be a sign

of problems (could indicate hydrocephalus). However her development

was very good, so she opted to do an ultrasound to look for problems,

then monitor it closely. My daughter was fine, but is still over 95th

percentile for height/weight/head.

A CT scan is a better check for hydrocephalus, but my ped wanted to

avoid any radiation unless there was a real indication of a problem.

in general they expect kids to stay on the same growth curve,or at

least not change drastically.

our cranial facial plastic surgeon told us that plagio/brachy was more

common in kids with large heads - which makes sense to me.
