Guest guest
Isabella has been wearing the DBB for 1 1/2 years now and we have never had problems with sores until now. Until she got the new shoes. I am so upset. I can't believe this. The top of her right foot where the strap goes across the foot has caused a major pressure sore. The size of a quarter. Tried everything under the sun to help her and now this morning woke up took the shoes off and now the pressure sore is raised like a goose egg (You know when your kids have fallen and bumped their head). Called Dr.Dobbs and a said to have her not in the brace for one night and see if it will heal any but I am so scared to do that. For one so scared of relapsing she is only 18 months and two she is in such a routine with the DBB I am worried just one night will cause her to fight to start wearing it again. She wears the DBB 13-14 hours a night. Dr.Dobbs said to lower it to around 12 hours to see if it will heal. Has anyone had this trouble with the new shoes on the top of the feet? I thought these shoes were suppose to help prevent sores. I really don't like these shoes now. I want the old ones back. We never had trouble with them. I am beside myself I don't know what to do, I hope someone can tell me what to do. I put more padding in there and it just made it worse. Please HELP!!
