Guest guest
Hello to everyone, I am not a regular poster but do read all the emails. I just wanted to share our families exciting day with the group. Sam who is now 3 1/2 yrs old was born with Bilateral Clubfeet. He had is first Op at 3 months over. The the last three years his right foot once again turned quite significantly (his left foot corrected beautifully with plastering.) He has now had another operation called a SPLATT(equivelant to ATTT I believe.) After 6 long weeks he has finally had his plaster removed, it is amazing he his has this gorgeous straight foot with a heel and arch, something he has never had. He walked on it from day one of plaster removal but due to haveing his knee straight for such a long time tends to favour it a little, we have been told once he strengthens his leg he will be write. I suppose our big concern now is relapse. I was hoping if anyone had been through anything similar with there child at the same age how it has since progressed and any tips. Warmest Regards Rheana Nation Sam 9/8/2000 Bilateral Talipes
