Guest guest Posted March 27, 2005 Report Share Posted March 27, 2005 Is a polyp the same thing as a tumor? My hubby had a golf ball size polyp removed from his colon. It was found to be cancerous. Now his doctor is either considering removing part of his colon or chemotherapy. He has to consult with other doctors who are of course on Easter break and so it will be next week before he hears from his doctor. It's torture waiting. Why do doctor do this to patients?
