Guest guest
Janie - thanks for your reply. The lab order included testosterone, but they didn't do it, or they neglected to send the results. My ferritin was 75. I was tested for B12 and it's OK. Should I continue the progesterone cream but add estrogen? I still have hot flashes. Thanks for the suggestion to increase 1/2 grain...... I think I'll try that before giving up. I'm starting to suspect that I might have fibromyalgia and I borrowed 3 books from my neighbor, who has lived with fibro since 1990. It started after iodine treatment on her thyroid. I keep reading here that fibro is likely undertreated hypo. But my symptoms started a few months ago - after I was working up to my optimal dose of Armour and then Time Caps. I didn't have this while on Levoxyl. I've also read that fibro didn't exist until after the TSH test and Synthroid became the norm. But this book says the disease, or syndrome, is not new - only the name is. In the 1800's it was called muscular rheumatism. In 1824, a doctor in Edinburgh described tender points. In 1880 an American doctor called it neurasthenia. In 1904, another doctor introduced the term fibrositis, which some doctors still use. Yes, I need to do that 24hr test. Do you need a script for the compounded DHEA gel? Thanks again and Happy Holidays! ......joan > > No. Do not take the Endo's advice. He's WRONG. > > You said your Ferritin was fine.
