Guest guest Posted January 9, 2004 Report Share Posted January 9, 2004 Hi just a reply to your question. I had a 18cm fibroid removed through hysterectomy nov 2002, and it was the best thing I did. No more anemia, tiredness, looking permantley 6 months pregnant, no more being stuck indoors through fear of flooding at any time during my period, my hair, nails, and general appearance changed and people were saying how well I looked considering id had a hyst. I lost 8lbs in weight and since then another 3 lbs so I feel great. But not every one has the same reactions afterwards, but I havent had a day with problems after the initial 6 week recovery period, and I was back to work after 6 weeks office working.
