Guest guest
e, It's brave sould like you who will stop this from happening to someone else. Did you contact the state medical board and ask? My Grandma died from gross medical neglect. The family went to a lawyer and was informed " Grandma wasn't " worth " anything and he wouldn't waste his time. But told the family to contact the state mediacal board and they did (goal was to stop it from happening to someone else). They cited the hospital and docs for numerous violations and they were put on probation and fined. Medical caps are insanity. They don't help good docs, just bad docs. How much is your child worth to you, because this is the question? Your Mom, sister, Aunt? 250,000? Because if your child is only worth $250,000, you have no busness being a parent. My child is priceless! If other family members are just worth $250,000, you need to straighten out your priorities. So, if a doc kills your child, just give you a $250,000 check, because when you accept caps, you accept this. What if the major bread winner for a family dies? How long do you think that cap money will last? The bread winner would have made much more money if alive. So who's being punished? Not bad docs and insurance companies. Families are being punished with caps. If hospitals and docs policed themselves they would be no need for caps in the first place. There's no reason insurance companies can't give lower rates to good docs. They do for good drivers. So in truth this problem can be solved without caps and punishing the innocent. Docs are human and make mistakes, someone said. They accepted the job and ALL that goes with it then. My mistakes on the job don't kill. How many people do they get to kill? It was last year they killed a baby here, gross medical neglect. When the parents pushed it, the hospital said fine, here's your $250,000, go away. The parents were so enraged, said they didn't care about the money, but didn't want another parent to lose their child. So the parents fought, won over a million because the negliect was so gross and the hospital and docs were not so smug after. We sometimes need big settlements to punish gross neglect. The truth is there are not a lot of nusience suits againt docs in the first place. You only hear about the big awards from gross neglect. These suits seldom happen. The caps are for the bad docs and insurance companies. We need protection from these and suing them for money is the only thing they do understand. These caps did not give my stste good docs. The bad ones came running here from everywhere. Two brand new women's hospitals just built in my city and no one can do a myo, what is this? Where are the good docs? Not here. I can't say what you guys have but we got legal pill pushing docs with beauty treatments on the side here. That's why it took them 3+ years to find my fibroid in the first place. I nearly died on their account and I value my life more than any $250,000 cap. Get rid of the caps, get rid of the bad docs and insist that insurance companies charge fair rates for their insurance to other docs. Didn't anyone read the study about how many people are killed by docs every year and the hospitals help hide it from the families? It's outrageous! It should boil your blood. It sounds like e values herself and doesn't want it to happen to anyone else. I applaud e. She has every right to be enraged. Her doc just wanted more money. You go e.
