Guest guest
Kathy, received noticed from the Family Independant Agency (our state's social service organization where people apply for things such as Medicaid and Food Stamps that her request for this one time Medicaid coverage for this surgery inside her head was denied. They said NO (I'am capitalize this word) evidence that this would result in death. THAT'S A BUNCH OF BULL S. EVERY WEBSITE I LOOKED UP IN THE INTERNET SAYS THAT GO UNTREATED FOR THIS CHOLESTOTOMA (I may have mispelled this word) VERY WELL BE FATAL. , I do hope that Kathy will go back into her MD's office and see him. He can write an appeals letter, and fight for her surgery. This is ridiculous, and the State knows that-- they are just hoping that you folks aren't going to fight for this. As you know, all surgery has a risk of death. But to go without this surgery, and she'll be deaf. a Do go in with her, and make sure that she tells the MD she does want and need this surgery. Be her advocate if she'll allow it. Blessing to you, Tracie
