Taking T4 only can raise T3 IF you convert in your body like you are supposed to, but most of us that are hypo do not convert as we should, some do better than others. Adding T3 will only raise T3 levels. In 's teachings he tries to " jump start " the thyroid with high even dosing of T3. Though he has many followers, I have my doubts. I tried it as close as I could simulate it with just T3 dosing, and it did not work for me. In spite of my apparent high requirements for T3 (I take 6 grains of Armour AND 75 mcg Cytomel, pure T3) this T3 only therapy did not make me feel well at all, nothing has except Armour & T3 together, which suggests the other hormones in Armour (T1, T2 & Calcitonin) are very necessary for me, if not for all of us! *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat?
