We might as well start planning ahead now, right?

What are some challenges you know you have coming up that may serve to

derail you on your eating and/or exercise program? Share with us three or

four challenges, and then brainstorm ways to deal with them.

Here are some of mine. As you know, I are a teechur and school is

starting...

1. Donuts at the staff meeting...and they always look SO good!

I will bring with me a Baker's Breakfast Cookie and some awesome coffee and

eat that slowly. It tastes better, is better for me, and is less points than

a donut.

2. Getting busy with the start of the new year means it's harder to get my

workouts in.

I will continue to swim and do aerobics in the morning and will write up an

exercise plan each week for my afternoons. I will leave work on time and

only work AFTER I've gotten MY time at home. I will not attend any meetings

that are after my scheduled work time. Call me selfish, but it's my time and

only I will decide how I use it.

3. Potluck at one of our work days next week.

I am going to make my almost fat free zuchinni brownies so I have a dessert.

In addition, I'll bring my own soup and sandwich and if it turns out there

isn't anything points friendly, I'll eat that. I might also bring a bunch of

cut veggies to share so I know there will be that. I will concentrate on the

company, not the food, so I am not tempted.

4. The fair is coming up!!! That means FAIR FOOD!

I will save my flexpoints and decide on one " treat " that day, and make sure

it works within my points. It'll probably be a scone because I love scones

and they aren't very high in fat. I'll just ask for no butter. I will bring

along granola bars and fruit for snacks.
