Guest guest
Jai, I was one of those that it just came on out of the blue...I never had any kind of procedures or surgeries to my face or nerves. I'm wondering if Bells Palsey and RSD has any connections with each other? Like, are they in the same nervous system? can the causes that brings them on be the same? Could I have gotten RSD because of the Bells Palsey? I've searched for info on the BP, and can't really find any on it. When I first got it, the Doctor I had told me and my Mom that They had never seen someone so young have it before......in fact, I was the first person under the age of 55 that they had ever heard of having Bells Palsey, including in any of the Medical Journals, Research papers, etc. That was back in 1989-1990. But, that was because I was going to a very small Clinic/Hospital. Ever since I had it though, the right side of my face gets these weird twitches that goes crazy every now and then. Like muscle spasms. Then, other times, it's just like its totally dead....I can move my face except for like my cheek. Or, the corner of my mouth. Thankfully, I haven't had any problems with my eye ever since then......except for the Fibro messing with it. Well, better get thru the rest of my emails before I get over flowed with them. Been busy driving all over the county today trying to get a few bills paid......before they end up like my $350 light bill! Tonia -------Original Message------- Hi Tonia, Bell's palsy is a mysterious thing. Sometimes it is caused because of a procedure that injures the facial nerve and sometimes it just comes on by its self. Thankfully it usually is self limiting. I hope you have no further instances with it!! I am sure just a half a smile from you is just as beautiful as a full one!! Take care, Love Jai ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
