Guest guest
Thanks, Val. I'll check that out. Just hung up with my sister and gave her the report. Have a wonderful day! Molly > Well there are no more sources for TCL generic on the Internet that we have found, and the other generics are almost as high as Armour and Naturethroid is as high or higher. An Armour prescription is NOT that expensive. And as a better product is not known, I would just fill that prescription. The cheapest prescription for Armour I have found is through www.drugstore.com. This is Rite Aid pharmacy's online store so you need a valid prescription for it but they are the cheapest I have found. > West Virginia missed ALL the snow! It is sunny and 29 degrees here! Guest guest
My doctor prescribed 30 mg. Armour for me & the pharmacy gave me generic. My doc's okay with that. But I'm not. I'd rather have the Armour. Anyway, my doc fired me this week because of my recent bloodtests that I had asked her to run for me after reading about them on this group...they're too complicated for her. I also ordered the Time Caps generic from myrxforless but now they're shut down. I've been taking those to supplement up to 2 grains now cuz the doc won't raise the dose she prescribed but I'm still on such a low dose I couldn't recommend one or the other as I'm not feeling too much different & having worse stomach/GERD problems now. In the past I haven't done well on the generics for anything...not on Synthroid either...had to have the brand name which worked better at first until it stopped working because it was just that, a synthetic & not the real thing. I just recently received my Nature Throid order from biogenics. as it doesn't have any fillers in it & I'm allergic to so many fillers & foods, etc. I will try experimenting with that too. I don't know where you can order Time Caps generic from anymore now that myrxforless is shut down. So I'm not much help but the others here will be, I'm sure. 2 ?'s - Time Caps and new RX needs to be filled............. Hi, I have a new RX for 90 mg. of Armour. The doctor checked the box that won't allow me to get the generic. Do most docs work with oyu on this and allow you to get the generic? If he will allow the generic, I have a new pharmacy in town and would like to ask them to help me get the Time Caps generic Armour. What is the website or do you have a phone number for them? I *think* I remember someone saying that the Time Caps has the same ingredients as the Armour. Is that right? Thanks for your help - Molly
Guest guest
Caroline, I hope that you feel better soon. Your doctor fired YOU?! She can't fire you; she can only admit to being incompetent! Good luck in finding a doc that has a clue. Have you checked on Shomom's thyroid info site under " top docs " for your state? that's where I found this new doc who seems to be pretty good. Sim > My doctor prescribed 30 mg.
