I am new to this sight. I have just found that my son has

plagiocephaly. I was one of the mothers that knew something just did

not look right about my baby. He is beatiful, but something just seemed

off. I told his doctor several times at 1mo 3mo 4 and so on. She said

not to worry it would change. I did little research when he was 6

months and could not find anything. With the doctor reassuring me

everything would be ok i stopped pushing the issue. 2 weeks ago i

started poking around on the internet again and found there is a name

to his mishaped head. I called the number pervided by my doctors office

and they said there was nothing that could be done after 6 months. I

missed my window. I was so upset that i did not do anything about it

and if i would have just looked around on the interrnet 7 months ago

aliitle longer he wouldn't be stuck like this. So later that day i

reserched and there where cases that worked after 13 months. I made

quick desicions to fly every two weeks to chicago if needed, but i

found that Childrens Hospital in Columbia, MO fixes it after 9 months

as well . Our appointment is on Thursday and i am so nervouse they are

going to tell me it is too late . My question is, has anyone had this

same experiance and if so did the helmet help after a certain age.

Thanks so much for reading.
