Hi Molly. The T3 in Armour can initially aggravate tendencies that

we each have. For me, it aggravated my MVP with palps, but they

would go away within a week of each rise.

As for you with the migraines, it's a personal judgement call. Since

you were on .200 Synthroid, your optimal dose of Armour is going to

be at least 3 grains, if not higher, I would suspect.

You definitely don't need to wait for bloodwork, since you are

underdosed anyway and bloodwork will simply tell you that. So trust

your gut---if you feel ok with doing the next raise this Friday, go

for it!

And by the way, bloodwork becomes fairly useless once you get

higher. Why? because docs pay WAYY too much attention to them, and

they will keep you UNDERdosed because of bloodwork. When you find

your optimal dose, for example, your TSH will be way below 1, and

your free T3 might be over the range. Neither means you are hyper,

and a lab-obsessed doc will believe so. Do NOT listen to him. Dose

by symptoms, and only use labs as interesting information.
