Guest guest
Cindi How long were you on the 4 1/2 grains? Several months, or just 4 to 6 wks? If you've been on that dose for quite a while, as in months, your body is probably used to that xtra T3 all during the day. That's why I couldn't figure out why you cut it back a full grain instead of about a half grain. I know everyone is not the same, and you know your own body better than anyone, but, when my heart starts the hard beating (not fast, but hard), my pulse is ALways down at 68 or below, even down to 62 to 65, i.e., time to take my thyroid med, and have gone past the time to take it. My heart rate was only fast one time since I've been taking Armour, and that was when I was experimenting around with the NutraMeds bovine adrenal. It woke me up in the middle of the night beating very fast, like something I'd never experienced except when I've been running or frightened to death. My instincts told me that it was the adrenal, as I'd been taking that for a couple of weeks. I cut the dose, then tapered it off and stopped it. I've never experienced that since, but every time my heart rate goes too low, my heart beats too hard. I can always tell when it's time to up my dose too, even if I didn't do testing, because of this. Your heart is not beating fast, but rather hard of fluttering in between also?
