I think thats the whole basis for the adkins diet. And more and more

doctors are jumping on his bandwagon. Sounds like there is real

validity in his theories.

You didn't sound patronizing at all and you summed it up well. It's

been a number of years since I read much about the diet so I'm a bit

rusty. I didn't bother to research it more once I found out it was so

restrictive. I knew my in-laws or parents would end up giving him

something he shouldn't have. Either that or the school would mess up

like so many schools have done on this list. (not a slam on all

schools, just my personal knowledge of my school system.)

There are other factors.

I don't know. The diet has been pretty thoroughly researched so I'm

thinking they would have tried making it a little less difficult to

follow, but then again, medical research does not always follow my

ideas of common sense.

Hi everyone

Please, please would you delete anything unnecessary before you post. I get

messages by Digest form and to scroll through so many 'repeats' is wearing

my poor mouse out.(grin!)
