Hi Steve,

Yes - I heard about the recall. I don't have the AB product. Mine

is Nucleus. This is unfortunate for Advanced Bionics as they had

another implant model pulled off the market a couple of years ago

because of a meningitis scare. I know that this makes the CI sound

as if it's not safe, but there are 60,000 or more CI users in the

world and this only applies to a few CI's.
