how soon after getting up do you take it?

I have done this - but I know for me it's because my body needs it's thyroid

hormone - and it that T3 just hasn't kicked in yet.

Sherry, which brand of natural thyroid are you on? Are you

swallowing or doing the 30 mgs sublingually? How long have you been

on the 1/2 grain?

I'm in Canada, so I take " Thyroid " Parke used to make it, but's

recently changed hands. I swallow the 30mg pill in the morning. I've

been on this dose and brand for 2 1/2 - 3 months

I'm surprised you have that kind of get up and go in the morning without

getting that Armour in ya. When I first starting taking it, I knew to just sit

on

the couch until it kicked in. :)

OK, that's a good brand. Why are you on such a low amount? Does that

amount put your free T3 at the top of the range, or does it

completely eliminate your symptoms? I've yet to meet someone who

does well on such a small amount, and it could be you need to

increase that. Most folks start increasing within the first few

weeks of an introductory dose, and you are still on an introductory

dose!

Sherry,

Synthroid did this to me terribly! I could hardly hold my eyes

open when I first started taking it. So, I started taking it before bedtime or

when I woke up in the middle of the night, as I never sleep completely through

the night. then after taking it, I would sleep better then I ever had. That

soon wore off though.

I do the same with my Armour. I keep it on my nightstand and when I wake up

around 4 AM I pop it in my mouth and let it dissolve slowly while I go back to

sleep!

Kathy

does this happen to you?

I take my thyroid dose (30mg natural thyroid) and I get sleepy about

15-20 min later. Then in about an hour I'm OK

I know it's connected to the pill, because I have varied the time.

Any advice?

Sherry
