Guest guest
Hi, I have missed the first part of this discussion & am sorry....I see a wonderful geneticist at s Hopkins & another at NIH....both have reccomended that I remain on HRT forever because of having EDS & it's collagen damage. I had asked about stopping taking premarin, and they were adament about comtinuing it. By accident, I ran out once and didn't take it for about ten days - LOL, my husband asked me to PLEASE not let that happen again! By the way, I have been taking it since 1993 when I first became symptomatic with change-of-life symptoms. It's true-discuss it with your physician and determine what is best for YOU! Guest guest
Sue, can you tell me what they believe hormone replacement therapy does for EDS? I know some believe it can help with osteoporosis, which I have, but I was questioning the risks of HRT with the benefits it gives. I already take Actonel for the Osteoporosis. Any advice you can give would be helpful to me in making a decision on whether or not to stop HRT. Thanks! Love Lana
