Good grief! I hope you are at least pain free now. Interferon is difficult for most people to take. I hope you are getting better still .I also had a hysterectomy (1989) leaving only the ovaries. The benign tumor was removed without having any problems and unrelated to RSD. My GYN found it at my annual exam. I have heard other women say that they don't have to go for a pap smear because of a hysterectomy which is only partially true. The " plumbing " still needs to be checked in the surrounding areas. It is just good " business " to have an annual checkup of our female parts, don't you think? If I understand correctly you would not have known that you had a precancer condition unless you went for a routine exam. Or did you have symptoms and went for help? And you are right, it is good to be here and I have felt welcomed from the first moment, thanks to you and everyone else. I'm glad you wrote, hope you are having a good day.
