I was also really nervous when we went to pick up our son's doc band

to the point that I thought I was going to throw up. We had

previously had 2 ill fitting starbands and I was so nervous that the

doc band wasn't going to fit either, mostly because our previous

ortho's tried to blame the bad fits on my son's head. I was also

really worried for the casting/assesment appointment. I thought

they were going to say he was to mild and couldn't have a doc band,

because we had a neurosurgeon tell us he was mild just before this.

To top it all off we drove 14 hours through the worst snow storm of

the year. I thought I was going to throw up the whole way. Once we

got there and once we got the band everything was fine. It fit very

well and I don't regret any of it for a minute. The only regret I

have is that we didn't go there sooner.
