Guest guest Posted August 4, 2004 Report Share Posted August 4, 2004 Hi folks, If you all remember, I mentioned a while back that I was waiting for my appointment with the sleep specialist in Boston and after over 15 years of sleep deprivation and many sleep doctors and test nothing ever changed. Well I met with this man today and he spent over an hour with me going over previous test results and listening to my whole life story. The doctor is not only extremely nice, his seems to be as brilliant as my neuro-muscular specialist is. I feel I have hope now! He feels certain that he will eventually be able to get me to sleep restoratively. One thing for certain, he is not going to let this problem just keep going without every effort possible. He has another mito patient that he was able to help. And on a funny note........he offered me a job! Said I knew more about sleep disorders than most of the people that worked there. haha If I ever decide to come on board, there is a spot for me. So flattering. I needed that extra boost to my ego.
