Guest guest Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 When you asked the other day about what do you hate about celiac... This is mine, trying to read the teeny tiny print and keep all the no-no ingredients memorized... any tips on how to keep the list of no-no's straight for when a person goes shopping? Thanks Angie > > barley malt is the THIRD ingredient > Too bad > So sad > Not even remotely GF > > http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CS9ZUQ/002-9325268-6319246 > Quote

Guest guest Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 I put the No-no list in my palm pilot and keep a printed copy in my purse or my car or both. Also, I got new glasses in December after 2 months of GF because I couldn't read print!! My new glasses are beyond trifocals.... They're (GASP!) quad-focals!! But they work. Beyond that, I remember Wheat, Rye, Barley, Oat and that Barley's mask is " Malt " . Malt anyting makes me stop right there.... I don't think rye wears any tricky masks. And the wheat ingredients usually have 'wheat' somewehre in the name. It's 'malt' that I have to remember. Hope this helps! But perhaps keep a printed copy in your car. Take it to Staples and have it laminated. Eventually the pesky ones stick in your brain. You can do it. We're rooting for you!!!!! > > > > barley malt is the THIRD ingredient > > Too bad > > So sad > > Not even remotely GF > > > > http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CS9ZUQ/002-9325268-6319246 > > > Quote
