Guest guest
, Fingers are crossed and prayers are on their way. (You WOULD think there was a less scarey way to do this.) Sounds like they're being cautious though, and I'm sure they'll take good care of her. Let me know how she's doing, okay? Guest guest
Dear karen, That sounds like such a scary situation for you and your daughter to be in. I am rather late in posting this, so I hope by now the crisis has passed and that things are going better. About the neostigmine- i just wanted to let you know that I take Mestinon (the drug for myasthenia gravis, and it either is, or is related to neostigmine) because it seems to help my muscle strength some. the other good thing, is that it is really good for my Gi motility problems:so maybe yur daughter's doc could consider her taking the drug orally on a regular basis. My gut feels much better on it, and i am much more regular (I also take the gi meds domperidone and zelnorm but no laxitives) Celia-- - In , Mrsmurffy@a... wrote: > Hello, > My middle girl just spent a week in the hospital for metabolic acidosis, now > this week my oldes is in for bowel obstruction...we are doing the IV > neostigmine which scares me to death..right before they administer it they bring the > crash cart into hte room, then the head nouse, her nurse and the ped doc is > there.
