Guest guest
, I'm not sure where you live but Integrity Healthcare just got me my Zevex Pump yesterday. I'm already in love with it. Check out their website and see if they can help www.integrityhealthcare.com/. You don't have to get your enternal supplies and pump at the same company --- I don't. Sue Ann Apria I was wondering if anyone here uses Apria and if so, what is your opinion of them. I am in a desperate search to get Neocate 1+ for Miranda. My regular Enteral supplier will not get it ( long story) There are other places that will carry the formula for me but will not get the Zevex pump, which I am not willing to give up....yet. So my insurance company case manager found this place and now we are getting insurance approval and all. The thing that really stinks then is we will have 3 suppliers, INSANE! One for enteral, one for tpn and the other for breathing equipment, pull ups, ect. I just don't see any other way around this and I am getting REALLY tired of fighting for what she needs! graphic from www. ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions. Guest guest
Apria found a walker for Spencer last Christmas. Although they don’t normally carry the particular walker the PT ordered, they were willing to help me. The insurance company fiddled around on the order for several months. They called weekly to find out what was happening with the order. Then, they called me to let me know how it was going. After we received the walker, we needed additional parts. They continued to do a great job helping us with Kaye. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Thank you Sue Ann. I am in PA. I looked at the website and it seems they are not... I am running into the problem of one supplier be unwilling to 'supply' unless they get the business of both the pump and the nutrition. So its not a matter of insurance but they just wont do it. Greedy, they want it all. I am glad you are loving your Zevex. I am just not willing to give it up. Its so portable, I love it! Especially now with also running the tpn pump. We NEED small and light! -- Re: Apria , I'm not sure where you live but Integrity Healthcare just got me my Zevex Pump yesterday. I'm already in love with it. Guest guest
, Our experience with Apria is that they don't supply zevex pumps or bags. The company we were buying the bags from where bought out by Apria and they suggested we call them, we did Apria told us they were not going to carry zevex. They were are first suppliers and we left because we were not happy with them but everyones experience is different. Good luck. Guest guest
Hi Barbara, It was actually our insurance case manager that did all the leg work to find another supplier that carried the Zevex. They said as long as you have a prescription from the Dr specifically requesting the Zevex, they will get it. Thanks for the reply. -- Apria>Date: Wed, 25 Jun 2003 13:24:26 -0400 (Eastern Daylight Time)>>>>I was wondering if anyone here uses Apria and if so, what is your opinion >of>them. Guest guest
, I don't know if it is the same company, but we use a company called Apria health services for Kira. I really don't know if they are international. We got 's wheelchair through them as well. It was a hassle but we finally got it. # different suppliers is nuts! Hang in there! I will call this weekend if I can. I have good news I want to share with you. Hugs O.
