Guest guest
Hi, Donna. You have already received a host of wonderful information regarding PDAs. If you desire to use your PDA primarily for WW, and you are planning to use the WWCalc program, you will need a palm-based program (one that operates using the Palm operating system (OS)). All Palm Pilots operate using the Palm OS system as well as the Sony Clie and the Treo 600 that someone else mentioned. (I don't know much about anything other than Palms.) I have owned a host of Palm pilots (IIIx, IIIc, m505, Tungsten T and now Tungsten T3). I use my Palm for WW, address book, date book, games, Bible and bluetooth, a feature which allows my palm to " communicate " with other bluetooth capable devices, such as my mobile phone. Having said all of that, I believe that if you want to use your Palm for WW and maybe a datebook, the Zire models will be more than adequate. Good luck with your search. As someone else mentioned, do some research prior to making your purchase. Also, be sure to buy from a merchant that will allow you to easily return the product, should you determine that you made the wrong purchase and want to return/exchange the product. Hope 240/174/170 or 165? Donna wrote on 11/8/2004, 3:05 PM: > > Hi all, > I was wondering if those of you who use a PDA could give me the > rundown on them.
