Guest guest
Sorry to hear that the WW recipes were such a bomb! But I'm glad to have the warning... Looking back over my time on WW, I have always been most successful when I have something low point on hand to snack on if the urge strikes. I do love taco soup for that reason. (In fact, my friends used to joke that I was trying to turn WWs into The Taco Soup Diet.) I also like the veggie soup made with light Velveeta for a snackin' soup also. This is 1 pt, I believe. Great if you like broccoli and cauliflower, which I do. I did just post both these recipes to the Files section. I noticed there is another Taco Soup recipe, but it is a little different than the one I use. I sometimes will make jello for snacking. In addition to plain SF jello, my 2 favorite combos are red jello w/ applesauce stirred in & orange jello with grated carrots and crushed pineapple. ----- Original Message ----- I like to keep low point soup/stew onhand. I grab a cup or two during the day. It keeps me from getting too hungry and adds lots of veggies and fiber to my diet. I think I'll try that taco soup recipie that someone posted a while ago. Guest guest
I like most ww recipes but I have been told by several people that you should double the amount of spices in their recipes. They tend to be on the bland side. It seems to be the case most of the time so I just set aside the spices and add extra in it doesn't taste so good while it's cooking. Kris _____ From: Beth I was/am in a food rut. I bought the new WW magazine looking for some inspiration. I do not recomend the blueberry-corn muffins - they were tasteless, dry weights. Nor do I suggest the beef veggie stew. What a waste of $10 in meat!!. I put it in the crockpot to cook all day long while I was running errands. I was so hungry when I got home - I threw it out. I couldn't eat it - and I was so hungry I could have eaten the carpet!! I like to keep low point soup/stew onhand. I grab a cup or two during the day. If others try recipies from the WW cookbooks or mags I would love to hear how they turned out - good or bad. Good so I can try them, bad so I don't waste my time or money on them. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. (the other) Beth
Guest guest
The Pumpkin Spice Cake doesn't need any extra spice at all. Make sure you use a Spice cake mix and you will be all set.
