Guest guest
Hi Kris, I think that doing maintenance is very different for each person regardless of the adding 2 points at a time and working toward finding a happy medium.. For me, most weeks I find that sticking just around 24 will keep me stable.. some days I go to 30-32, but I can only do this for very few days and then I start gaining. I find that I can feel satisfied now having around the 24 mark as my top, maybe because I know I stay put and dont have the worry of gaining.. I will ever be able to have a lot of extra points, only just now and then.. I have read too, where some people can maintain on having so much more, but I figure maybe they are just that much more active than me and have way better metabolisms.. When on vacation I found that I was so much more active and so I ate a few more points, I am talking only say 5-6 SOME days, and came back 6 lbs lighter. So knowing how much activity I got in, I know I could of had more points and maintained. I realize that I used up a lot of points in activity..lesson one.. This tells me that if I want to have more points, I know how much more moving I need to do. But I was eating right as well, I was not consuming a bunch of sweets or what I call junk foods etc.. I stayed very aware of what I had.. Now that I am home, listen to this, I have gained back 2 of the 6 lbs I lost, just that quick...in 4 days...because I am not as active. My food choices are still good, but I am a bit over the 24 points, so if I want to take then off, I will need to back down a couple of points or move more...Its been a good lesson here in understanding my body a little more..if that is possible..lol.!! Anyway just thought I would pass on some of my thoughts on how I react to maintenance...You have a good week.. By the way, I never failed to journal everyday as well.. ~~Kallie~ ------------------------------------------------------------------- In Serious-Weight-Watchers , " Jay & Kris Swofford " <jayswof@e...> wrote: > I was wondering for those on maintenance how many points do you eat per day > or week? >> Kris > 194/132/
