Guest guest Posted August 12, 2004 Report Share Posted August 12, 2004 I was wondering if there is anyone that has had phlebitis near the IV sight. has been on hydration for 2 days and early this evening he started complaning that his arm hurts when he moves it, the area does not look red or inflamed like it has in the past. Needless to say the DR'S offices were closed and today is his primary doctor's day off. I have talked to 2 on call doctors that have recomended stopping the fluids. wants to run it some more but he is worried about getting an infection with having mito.
