Guest guest
Here are a few ways to boost your metabolism, which determines how much your body burns when you are sittin still. 1. eat or drink water first thing in the morning, when you wake up the first thing you do should be to eat or drink something. If you give your body something to burn first thing in the morning, it will continue to burn throughout the day even when your stomach is empty and and you are watching tv. 2. exercise in the morning, I know some people prefer to exercise at night and that is fine, but in the morning it will get your body burning so it will burn throughout the day and it also give you a lot of energy. 3. Drink water before your work out, then for every 15 minutes you should have 6-8 ounces of water during your workout. Then have 6-8 oz. after your workout also. This will keep you well hydrated as wll as keep your body burning more efficiently. 4. If you work out longer than an hour have a snack, a combo of protien and carbs is the best. This will help you recover from the workout faster and keep your metabolism up instead of shutting down because of exhaustion. 5. eating small meals throughout the day. Eating 6 small meals and maybe a few snacks is better than filling up 3 times a day plus snacks. With 6 small meals you always have something in your stomach for your body to burn which helps it burn better though the night when you aren't eating. This is the most efficient way to fuel your body. Think of it as fueling your car you don't wait until your car runs out of gas to put gas in it when it starts to get low you put gas in it. So why would you wait until your stomach starts growling and you can't go without food any longer before you eat. Just eat every 2-3 hours and you will never run out of " gas " .
