Horrible. Glad everyone is OK. P.S.: OK, on a lighter note, maybe the police officer figured you guys could easily outrun a criminal! ;o) > Okay I'm kind of mad at the sville police! I mean, if there are armed men running around, why would they want to risk others getting hurt? I think I would call up the station and talk to someone about what happened and suggest that they handle things differently if it ever happens again. Glad you are both safe!!!! Maureen Yipes! We didn't think much of it until on our way back home we saw a news van and noticed a helicopter overhead. We ran home and turned on the news. I just found out that we're all supposed to stay in our homes because three armed men broke into a house and took a man hostage in his home. He's okay, but they're on the loose not far from our home and right where we were running. WHY THE HELL DIDN'T THE POLICE OFFICER WHO DROVE PAST US AND SAW US TELL US TO GET HOME?? Of course the news could be exagerrating but sheesh! That's scary! Praise the Lord we're fine, and that the guy who was kidnapped is fine. The front light was out in his van and a state trooper pulled over the van and the kidnappers ran. Ah well...we're fine. Just have to say my heart leapt to my throat when the news said " sville police are telling residents to stay in their homes right now.
