Guest guest
Gillian I think that is a good idea. If we try to use the generic names of drugs, they would be the same in all locations. Carnitor is a prescription drug which is a regulated drug of L-carnitine. It helps the CoQ10 work better and the CoQ10 helps it to work better. Some people are deficient in it and this can be a real problem, especially in children. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Thu, 30 Sep 2004 13:32:34 -0000 > To: > Subject: List owner or whoever help please > > Please don't laugh at me but I am having a major problem > here...UK...can't translate understand some of the names of docs..... > > what is a pulmonologist, internist etc? > > Also what is carnitor...BiCap etc > > managed to guggle lipitor..UK name Avorstatin... could you put a > list somewhere for us that aren't American please so we can compare > the relevant specialities names and understand the posts better..or > is it me thats 'thick' > > Gillian > > > > Medical advice, information, opinions, data and statements contained herein > are not necessarily those of the list moderators. Guest guest
Gillian, I believe Carnitor is available in like Italy but not sure about Great Britain. I know it has to be specially imported by permission to I think it is Finland. There were some people on the other list I belong to and some can get it and some cannot. It is made by Sigma Tau. Sigmatau.com tells a little about the company but mainly the US branch. It does say the main company is in Rome Italy. You may want to contact them to see if Carnitor is available to you.
