decorating my daughter's band

Hello,

My 4 1/2 month old daughter is getting her 1st band next week. My

husband and I want to paint it a color other than white, but want to

be able to change the stickers to reflect the season or other things.

Has anyone used the spray paint for plastics (suggested by out OT)

with stickers? Were you able to change them?

Thanks!

Maybe you've thought of these ideas????? 1. You could experiment on a plastic surface you don't mind practicing on. 2. If the stickers pull off the paint, either respray or cover with another sticker. (Have you ever tried WD-40 to get the sticky off of things? It really does work!) 3. Follow the seasons rather than holidays. By the time the season has changed your little one will probably be due for a second band. Let us know what you are trying. It will save future banders from reinventing the wheel!

We did not paint for a few reasons, mainly the idea of a chemical on

the band and the idea that it will chip around the edges. We

changed Logan's stickers weekly, all of his bands are posted here

under photos as " Boy DOC Band decorating ideas. " Not all of them

are just for boys, there were summertime ones, Winnie the Pooh,

vacation, Happy Birthday etc.. Hope this helps!
