PDA stuff RE: Goal Delema

One other thing to make note of is that some of the newer Palm brand PDAs

(Zire 31 and Zire 72) don't have the " universal connector " like the most of

the Palm brand PDAs. What does this mean? Well, I guess not much if you

don't already have a PDA, but it also means that some of the peripherals

that are currently available like the fold-out keyboards, hotsync cradles,

USB hotsync cords, etc., won't work with the " latest and greatest " Palm

brand PDAs. (Bad move, if you ask me.) Why would you need a keyboard?

Welllll.... I like my little fold-out keyboard if I plan to enter a lot of

data into the PDA. It isn't a necessity since you CAN enter some of the

data on the computer and then synchronize the PDA and computer to download

the information. But.. it is nice if you plan to enter some of your own

foods into WWCalc - much quicker than using Graffiti (for me) although you

can use the virtual keyboard. My BF () has the Palm T3. The screen

expands so you can view more data.

I would suggest to get the most INTERNAL memory you can and also buy at

least a 128 MB external storage card as well. The internal memory is good

for those programs that will only run when installed on the PDA itself (like

WWCalc, QuickOffice, etc.). Most games, e-books and some programs will run

just fine when installed on a card.

Goal Delema

Please forgive the bragging but really I need some help.

I have the best husband in the world!! He has been very supportive of me

loosing weight and he is always telling me how great I'm doing. When I made

goal the other day he brought me home three bouquets of flowers and gave me

$1,000 to do what ever I want with!! Normally it would be very easy for me

to go out and spend money but I can't decide what to do with it! I knew he

would do something really nice when I reached goal but I just figured he'd

buy me jewelry or take me somewhere nice for a weekend. I have no idea what

I should do with it! Well there are things I have been wanting for some time

like a Sony Clie palm pilot, and I'm sure I could manage to spend some on

cloths because shopping has gotten a whole lot more fun the thinner I have

gotten, but I can't decide. It would also be nice to go away for a weekend

somewhere. If I bought the palm pilot though I could track all my WW stuff

in it and the one I want also takes pictures so that would be cool, but it

just seems to expensive and I wonder if it would really be worth it? So I

have this money now burning a hole in my pocket and my husband wont even

help me spend it. He just keeps saying it's mine to do whatever I want with,

and he doesn't care if I spend it on clothes, jewelry, stuff for the house,

or a day at a spa. I'm sure he would love to see some sexy underwear come

out of it but he isn't going to help me spend it. So... What would you do???

I'm leaning towards the Sony PEG-UX50 and if anyone has one let me know if

you feel it's worth the $600 price tag.
