Kris,

CONGRATULATIONS AND HUGS TO YOU for reaching goal! Wow! You are such an

inspiration. I'll eagerly await hearing how you handle maintenance, because I'm

hoping to be there in the not-too-distant future.

I LOVE your idea of confetti and horns if you become a WW leader. You are so

right....we all need to be truly excited about reaching goal....and also

about passing other big landmarks, like losing 100 pounds or 50 or 75. Those

are

BIG accomplishments!! I think I read somewhere that one leader brings a

digital camera and really celebrates in a big way when her members reach goal.

It

would be fun to think of lots of ways to really play it up!

Anyway....let us know how maintenance goes, please!

Woohoo!!! That's awesome! ***virtual confetti*** =)

Kris's Update

I should have met my goal last week (last time I wrote I was .8 ounces

away from it) but last week TOM came and so I was .4 ounces up!! I was

cranky, irritated, and in a very foul mood (as women tend to get when

TOM comes

around) so I didn't post about it. It did strengthen my resolve though

and so I did very well last week and this week I was down 1.6 lbs!!!

Which puts me at 131.6 so I am below my goal weight!!!!!!FINALLY!!!!!!!

YEAHHHH!!!!!! I decided if I become a WW leader I will have a bag of

confetti at the scales to throw on people when they hit their goal. And

maybe some of those annoying paper birthday horns. People just need to

be more excited about hitting their goal. Okay, so maybe I just wanted a

major hoop-la because it took me TWO YEARS and TWO MONTHS to reach my

goal but I hung on. 62 pounds gone NEVER to be seen again. So now on to

maintenance which after two majorly long plateaus I should be very good

at! I need to read the pamphlet they game me and find out what is in

there. I'm kinda freaked out about adding points back and I think I am

going to stick with just the usual 20 per day plus all the flex points,

I know I can maintain on that and if I loose some more that's fine too.

I might try and go down another 5 pounds and see if I can get to 125,

we'll see.

My leader always gives her people a special plaque or certificate when they

reach goal.

Thanks Bette! :o)

You are almost there and your doing great. I do think they should make a

bigger deal about the big land marks too. A magnet is nice and at least the

recognize you but I think they should do the magnets for every 10 or 20

pounds and then have something nicer for 50, 100, and goal. I know they do

the whole charms and key chains thing but a free meeting or something would

be nice when you hit 25 lbs or 50 lbs. I definitely think they need the

confetti though ;o)
