Sorry if I missed something, but have you had aldosterone tested? My resting HR

stayed close to 100 until I got on Florinef. Salt alone never affected it, and

my BP was fine. Now my pulse is 78-84, lower than it's been in many years. FWTW

A drop like that is screaming " Adrenals " at me.

Are you on anything for them, have you had a saliva test??

I'm weaning off Cortef b/c my doctor said now was the time. He said my 5mg dose

in the morning caused me to have high serum cortisol. I know many say that

taking the dose is not accurate in serum tests, but he wants me to wean. I'm

now, starting today, down to 7.5mg a day. I was on 15m for most of 15 months. My

temps today have been steady at 98.4 all day. I'm also on 3 grains Erfa and I'm

not supposed to raise until I wean off Cortef completely and reassess symptoms.

I do still have high RT3 though, but this doctor wants me to get off the Cortef

as he thinks I have high cortisol and that could be causing the RT3. My ferritin

is 71, and D 70, so those are good.

I will be changing doctors soon though and I will see what happens then. For now

I'm going to wean off and see how I feel.

The drops seem to come when I'm in a cold environment, like AC in my car blowing

on me, or in the house.
