I personally call it a vegetable. That's because I don't like vegetables, but I do like corn; and if I eat corn, then I can say that I've eaten a vegetable. ;-) Corn on the cob is 2 points per cob, as I recall. As is a cup of kernels. And dried corn cobs make neat cat toys. -- Sláinte, S. Guest guest
I'm with you. A 1/2 cup of corn only added a point to my lunch, but now my tummy feels super full. What about avocado? I say since its green it should be a vegetable too. Kat > > Kathy said: > > I don't know why, I can't keep this in my brain. (Oddly, though, guacamole, made from avacado, has far fewer points.) [Fact: Avacado is a fruit, because it's got a big ol' seed in the middle of it. According to my food guide, 1/4 of an avacado, or 2 ounces, is 2 points. Yikes!] -- Sláinte, S. Guest guest
It's a starchy vegetable, so it'll always have points. Kathy wrote:I don't know why, I can't keep this in my brain.
