I personally call it a vegetable. That's because I don't like vegetables,

but I do like corn; and if I eat corn, then I can say that I've eaten a

vegetable. ;-)

Corn on the cob is 2 points per cob, as I recall. As is a cup of kernels.

And dried corn cobs make neat cat toys.

It's a vegetable, but it's not a freebie veggie.

I'm with you. A 1/2 cup of corn only added a point to my lunch, but

now my tummy feels super full.

What about avocado? I say since its green it should be a vegetable too. ;)

It may be green, but an individual avacado is roughly 8,000 points. That

way, its nasty green sliminess never has to pass through my lips.

(Oddly, though, guacamole, made from avacado, has far fewer points.)

[Fact: Avacado is a fruit, because it's got a big ol' seed in the middle

of it. According to my food guide, 1/4 of an avacado, or 2 ounces, is 2

points. Yikes!]

It's a starchy vegetable, so it'll always have points.
