Guest guest
Tory - Thanks for sharing the information about your food choices at Disneyland! Unfortunately (for me!) the Brownie troop I'm accompanying has chosen two places to eat that serve very limited food choices, and we're required to stay together for the meals. Bummer. We're eating at a hamburger joint for lunch in Fantasyland, the Village Haus, and at the Golden Horseshoe Revue for dinner where they only serve hot dogs, hamburgers and chili fries. Can you believe their choices? Sheesh. I do believe the Village Haus serves a turkey sandwich and a fruit bowl, so once I sneak at peek at those things going by on other people's plates (grin!), I'll know if they're okay choices. I sure wish I had been included in the restaurant choices. But oh well.... I'm taking some points-friendly snacks with me, premeasured, and will make the best of the bad-food-choice situation! Fortunately, after a year on program now (yesterday was my one-year anniversary!), I'm not afraid of outings like this, like I was when I first began. Wish me luck. I don't expect to sleep much tonight, following D'land, with a troopful of first-thru-third grade girls having a slumber party with us moms! LOL! Guest guest
You're going to have so much fun! Near the Golden Horseshoe Review is the Riverboat Terrace where you could run in and get a salad. The Pinnochio place in Fantasyland has salads too, so you could do that. I think they might also have a chicken sandwich. If you're going over to DCA definitely go into Test Pilots Grill, they have great chicken sands. I just toss out the fries. (Okay, I eat ONE fry...one.) There is a 7-11 down the road you can get fruit in. If you can't get to it, there are three fruit places in Disneyland: Over by Splash Mt., in Adventureland near Aladdins Oasis, and on Main Street. Also the coffee shop (kitchen shop) there on main right by the fruit place has bottomless coffee. Buy a coffee there and take your receipt back for a refill all day. (You don't need to save your cup.) Bring in water/soda if you can' because it's $2.75 in the park! -----Original Message-----From: mousikos@...
