Guest guest
Sorry about the stress ! You have done a great job on turning to food. You know that it really wouldn't help and probably even make you feel worse after you eat it. Hang in there!! Maureen Ever Heard of the CFA? Hi, all:I've been having a rough time. My husband is studying for Level 3 of his CFA exam, and it's causing QUITE a bit of stress in our lives. He studies constantly. Constantly. Not only that, but he's been very unpleasant to be around. I've almost turned to food on a couple of occasions--I've been CRAVING a stuffed crust meat lovers pizza--but I've managed to stick strictly to program. By the skin of my teeth. Have any of you ever taken this exam? Or had a spouse that has? I would really appreciate it if you could email me at ghanico@.... No one I know has any concept of how demanding this exam is. It would really help if I could get some others' perspectives on it. As I mentioned, I have stayed on program. I've come to realize that food for me is like alcohol for an alcoholic. I can't just say "screw it" and eat what I want. For me it's very, very serious and I need to treat it that way. I lost last week; I've now passed the 40 pounds lost mark. Yay. I don't know how I've managed to do it, but I have. I'm very proud of that. 297/266.5/
Guest guest
Hey , Just grit your teeth and keep on going, you've done well so far!! What IS the CFA?? Is it for firemen?? Good going with the 40 lost so far, just keep it up and DON'T turn to food. Buy a punching bag or something or walk or read mystery novels. It's not worth giving up the success you've had so far, when does he take it?? Ever Heard of the CFA? Hi, all: I've been having a rough time. Guest guest
Hi, : CFA stands for " chartered financial analyst. " I had a good chuckle when I saw your fireman comment. My husband is so FAR from being a fireman!! He's a total finance " geek. " > Hey , > Just grit your teeth and keep on going, you've done well so far!! > What IS the CFA?? Guest guest
Sorry about that, lol!! Guess I didn't think it through and maybe thought it was Calif. Fireman's Assoc. but then I didn't know where you lived either. I hadn't heard of this test, what does that enable him to do?? Does he have an accounting degree or backgroun or a finance degree? What will this enable him to do?? I have a bachelor's in accounting too, but am currently at home with the kids. I'm thinking about testing the waters this fall when my youngest starts kindergarten.
