Guest guest
I was sick the weekend before last with food poisioning. I had to go the hospital where I was given 4 bags of fluid and 3 bags of potassium. My potassium level was 3.1 which they said wasnt " that " low. Anyway, they had a hard time drawing blood from my veins due to dehydration, at least thats what they said. This brings me to yesterday. I had a doc appointment where they check my Vitamin D levels and again, the nurse could not draw any blood. One arm she got a little but not enough. Has this happened to anyone and do you know if in fact it is because of dehydration? Its been two weeks since the food poisioning. Thanks Char

Guest guest
Char, once my husband had a problem with a blook draw and it was because it was a fasting test and he thought that ment water as well. Are you drinking lots of fluids? You should be getting 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. Ruth (Ruthiema) > > I was sick the weekend before last with food poisioning.
