chest pains??

Hi to all....ive been experiencing chest pains ones ive never had

b4...the come and go thru out the day and freak me out...Has anyone

else had these?? I am on my 19th radiation treatment on monday and

have 21 more to go...im wondering if its the treatment or me being so

emotional off and on and the anxiety that accompanies this is a

whammo...i would appreciate any responses...thanks hugs kassy

Hey Kassy,

You mean like pains in the area they are radiating? or chest pains?

If you have any pain in your arm, jaw or back as well, get it checked

out now. I do have (and did have) pain that was in the area of the

lumpsite. But, when I got it, it went away pretty quickly. Nothing

that I took tylenol for or anything like that - just a fleeting pain.

Radiation should not " cause " the pain, but there may be something else

going on. Like you said, could also be anxiety. I'd get myself

checked out, especially if the pains are accompanied by any other of

the areas mentioned above.

Hang in girlfriend. Someone else will probably respond to you as

well.

Kassy,

If you are having any pains in your arms, neck, jaw go to the ER just to be sure

its not your heart. It could be stress. I will keep you in my prayers.
