Hello D.G. Moms,

Thanks for all your comments. I have drafted a log that I will be

faxing to Marie this morning. The draft allows for some free form

writing as well as a check box on categories such as: Academics, social,

havioral, self-help, communication. It is at least twice the size, of

the current log. Not the ideal, but my attempt at a compromise. Marie

does not want the teachers to go back to complete free form because

there was aparently, too much subjectivity in the comments and because

it takes too much time away from the kids.

The free form suggests that the teachers must comment about activities

such as circle time, lunch time, games, toys, social interaction with

peers as well as academic successes or difficulties.

I don't know what Marie and Debra will agree to use, but the current log

is just not working.

Heidi, she didn't mention who the five parents were, but if my math

works correctly, it's probably our group.

I will keep you all posted.
