The gurgle gurgle gurgle of the stomach really has been assuring that everything is working. The gurgle stopped yesterday and I was having kittens. Rang the nurse at the surgery who told me that my small bowel was having an overload problem and I may need to take a laxative. What a classic....a laxative (after all that has been said about our toilet troubles after surgery). I took the laxative last night and was so happy to hear the gurgle gurgle recommence at 4am this morning. 6am and me and the favourite porcelain room were great buddies. But hey, I feel absolutely terrific again now. Love this switch. According to Mum's not so good scales I have lost 4 kilos so far. Yippeee!! Will be off to the shops today and will check out the proper weighing machine down there. Have a great day. Time for me to give Dad his computer back.
